Sunday Lace.

Geez. I am so exhausted with trying to improve the look of my blog! All morning I was researching ways to add the invisible "pin it" button to my outfit photo's but no success :( I have no clue what I was doing incorrect. On the brighter side, I was able to improve a few things on my blog :) I discovered Her New Leaf. She provides great tips about blogging. Check out her blog! Do you notice any changes on mine?

So here are the details on today's outfit: I'm wearing my favorite white lace blouse. I love the sleeves on this blouse (totally chic). Also wearing a colorful scarf (purple, pink and greens), Boot-cut jeans, and my nude heels. Placed my hair up in a sock bun :) I became inspired with this simple look by Classy in the Classroom--cute & classy blogger! I call this look "Sunday Lace".

Pinot Grigio Saturday =)

Happy Saturday Folks! I started my morning off super early at the office. Worked till 2, came home and said to myself "Pour yourself a glass of wine missy!" So of course I did! My favorite wine is Pinot Grigio. Any other wine drinkers out there? Let's see what else? oh yes my Saturday outfit! Here are the details...since I wrote an article recently on the LV speedy, I decided to implement the handbag today. I'm wearing my favorite deep blue chiffon (see thru) blouse. I can wear this blouse to the office and for a night out. Also wearing some black skinny jeans and my grey booties (I just can't seem to get enough of! They just go with every outfit so far!) Accessorized the outfit up with some gold and black. Check it out! :) xoxo

The Maxi Dress

Since the 1960's, maxi dresses have been worn by women of all ages. Most women adore maxi dresses because they are fitting at the top and loose to the ankle (so comfortable for a women to wear! This is why pregnant women wear these dresses often). But these dresses are lovely and can be worn in the fall, spring or summer. It's nice to have maxi dresses in different colors and patterns. I own about 4 maxi dresses but do plan to purchase more this spring. Since i'm a shorty (5 feet) I wear my maxi dresses with platform booties or wedges that way I appear taller :). Recently I've been inspired to purchase a white and black pattern maxi dress like the beautiful ladies below...

My take on the Iconic Speedy LV

It is clear that the Louis Vuitton Speedy is a classic. Anyone who is an avid LV buyer would know that LV created the speedy in the 1930's and has been a hit ever since. Beautiful and talented Audrey Hepburn sported the purse in her days. Looking so classy and elegant, Audrey was seen holding it often. Yes some may say any LV handbag is overpriced but you pay for what you get. I paid a pretty penny for my first LV speedy (speedy 25). The truth is, how can you resist the elegant design with it's cowhide leather handles? It's my all time favorite. Here are some reasons why it is worth purchasing this style:

1)It's a classic and will probably never go out of style.
2)It's versatile (capable of looking great with any outfit)
3)It's roomy and can hold all your goodies (make-up pouch, wallet, etc..)

Fact: Louis Vuitton Malletier (the original name) eventually turned into just Louis Vuitton. It was first founded in 1854 as a French fashion house.

Tip:Never take your speedy to a Las Vegas pool party like I did seen here (above). total FAIL ..I don't know what I was thinking! This is the white damier Azur speedy 30

The iconic speedy 25. Monogram print. CLASSIC!

A throwback of me holding my first speedy...so cheesy I know (more than a few years ago)

President's day with Stripes

Happy President's Day! I love holidays because no work, shopping DEALS, and oh did I say no work? :) I woke up early, had my cup of joe, and made pancakes with Jason for breakfast. Jason and I are going to enjoy the day by taking a walk downtown historic "Old Sacramento". Wearing my new stripe strapless top I purchased at SFL, I decided to pair it up with my favorite distressed jeans and white blazer...curled my hair (which I don't like to do often because it's time consuming). I hope everyone has a beautiful day off! xoxo

The Fabulous BF Jeans

Boyfriend jeans are fabulous for several reasons:
1) They are comfortable to wear 2) And great to for Spring

Depending on how you prefer to wear them, they may be worn slightly loose or really loose (almost baggy). I once asked my boyfriend what he thought of them. His response was "Why are they loose?" well of course he'll think that because boys have a thing for butts in TIGHT jeans but I say whatever! lol It's always good to sport boyfriend jeans once in a while instead of your sexy fit tight jeans. I think boyfriend jeans look and feel great for a casual day. Personally, I prefer too wear them slightly loose. I once saw a photo of Vanessa Hudgens walking out of the airport. She was wearing the baggiest boyfriend jeans. I think they are Zac Efrons (lol and probably were). Whatever your preference is, make sure you feel confident about how they look on you. Because if you feel confident, they probably look awesome :)

These jeans are great because you can dress them up with different styles! for example, the shoes may be flats, heels, or booties (ankle booties). Here is one style with a pair of open toe heels..i'm digging this look

Celebrities rock boyfriend jeans all the time...here are a few I admire

Adorable Rachel Bilson

Pretty Eva Longoria

Sweet Jessica Alba

Ready to go sport your favorite Boyfriend Jeans? Go work it girl! ;)

Romantic Floral.

3 reasons to wear Floral this spring

1)It's Darling 2)It's Chic 3)And pretty!

I see ROMANCE and SPRING when I see floral print. I can't wait to purchase my first pair of floral pants for spring..(I might just buy a pair now!) recently, in the past month, I've seen floral print pants in stores like Target and Forever 21. Neon in February

BRIGHT neon in February? I can wear it ;) I Put this outfit together for my boyfriend's birthday dinner tonight. It's a little chilly in Sacramento, so of course i'll be wearing my jacket tonight. I'm wearing bright neon green shorts I purchased last summer at a local thrift store, black H&M elbow sweater, black leggings, and my new booties I adore from SFL (Styles for Less)...My boyfriend should be home any moment now..I can't wait till he see's this look :) Have a lovely day everyone!

Birthday Cake

Today is a very special day because it is my prince charming's Birthday :) I wanted to do something special for him so guess what? I made him a customized birthday cake which didn't come out that bad....one thing for sure is I am definitely no Betty Crocker when it comes to baking... but I do try! (It's the thought that counts right?) Jason (my boyfriend and prince charming) is a HUGE 49er football fan so I became inspired and used their color's as his cake theme.

It was the easiest thing! Jason's favorite cake is yellow cake and chocolate frosting. I wanted the cake to be red so I decided to use vanilla frosting to cover the cake (so I can spray paint it red with edible color spray I purchased at Micheal's) and chocolate frosting in the middle of the cakes layer (only two layers). I sprinkled some edible gold hearts and found football candles at Wal-Mart. I attempted to write on it with an icing pen (also purchased at Michael's) but it dripped everywhere and looked HORRIBLE lol...sprayed on top of the drippy writing and sprinkled red sprinkles..had to come up with a solution quick to fix it! This is why I suck at baking...

Here's the end result...

The cake didn't turn out the way I planned, but it's the thought that counts right?

Happy Birthday Jason! I love you!
