Valentine's Day

Cupid is around the corner and the smell of love will soon be in the air. Yes it's that time of the year, Valentine's Day. Our national lover's holiday! Have you prepared your outfit for your night or day out? Or has it not crossed your mind? Whether I go out to dinner with my fiancé or just a day out with a girlfriend, one of my favorite things to do is dress up on Valentine's Day. I'm excited to share that I've found my V-Day Outfit. The track pants are two toned (black and pale pink) and they even have elastic on the waist for comfort. I'm excited to see what everyone else has in mind for V-Day this year! I know it's still over one week away but it's never too early to start your outfit planning!

One Year Anniversary On The Blog!

Happy One Year Anniversary to my blog, Miss Renaaye, Let's Talk Fashion!

In honor of my one year anniversary of "Let's Talk Fashion", I thought it would be perfect to have an outfit photo shoot session with a local photographer. I'm very fortunate to have found a talented photographer who is able to express my style in her work. I had the pleasure of working with Dana last week. Dana works with many different clients such as weddings, engagements, baby photos, etc. Please check out her blog which includes her beautiful work!

With spring just around the corner, I wanted to incorporate some spring colors. I found this amazing mint cross body handbag at target. It is extremely practical for someone on the go like myself. It is perfect for fitting my lipstick, small wallet and iPhone. In addition, my ankle jeans are my new favorite! They are comfortable and fit a little loose on me (which allows more comfort!). The bleached design on the denim reminds me of "hello spring." To dress up the outfit a bit, I wore the one and only cute Ravesh Pumps by Steve Madden. These heels are a great signature piece to complete this outfit.

I love colors. I dressed up my fingers with medi-rings and oval shaped nails. This is my first time with oval nails. I thought I'd try out something new for the new year!

The Day I Said Yes!

So it finally happened! I turned 30 years old and Jason proposed! Ahh wine, birthday, engaged!? It was so much for just one day! The morning of my birthday, we made the decision to drive to Calistoga. Along highway 29, there are a ton of wineries. One of the first wineries we visited was "Andretti Winery." We loved this place. The scenery was beautiful and the wine was great. We were told that Sterling Vineyards had this air tram ride with a gorgeous view. After visiting Andretti Winery, Jason drove us further up the path to Sterling. The air tram ride was fun and lovely! We enjoyed the wine tour along with the sitting down wine tasting. After tasting a bunch of wine, Jason and I went back in the air tram back to our car. Jason pointed over my right shoulder saying "Look!" As I looked back over my right shoulder I saw nothing and turned back to him like "Huh? look at what?" but saw him holding out a little red velvet box with something shiny. Then I realized, omg that's a diamond ring! Jason asked me to marry him! Of course I said Yes! lol He completely surprised me. This day turned out to be one of the happiest days of my life =).

Love the grapes. We came during harvesting season (the month of my birthday) so the grapes were ready to make the wine! :) Such a beautiful thing.

After he asked: This photo was taken 10 minutes after I said yes . As you can see my eyes are red and watery from the happiness. I was still shocked! haha

Met up with this beautiful lady and her sweet husband later that night to celebrate! We drank sparkling wine and talked about all the exciting things that happened earlier that day.

Downtown Napa at Empire Lounge

I know this is not a very good photo but we ran into David Arquette! It was my friend Renee who noticed him first and casually said hi. He talked to us for a bit, said congrats and happy birthday and took this pic with us. Wow such a memorable night! I loved him in the movie "Scream" and "Never Been Kissed" with Drew Barrymore! He was such a nice friendly guy. We liked him a lot!

First Wine Tasting of the Day Downtown Napa at the "Twenty Rows" tasting room. I highly recommend this place. The staff there were incredibly nice and the wine was very smooth. They also have an art gallery. Very gorgeous art work displayed!

When I first saw this peplum top at a local boutique Heart Boutique , I fell in love immediately. One of my favorite colors is coral. Since this top is neon coral & combined with colorful jewels, the beauty of it made my heart melt. This top can create a pretty look for a summer brunch or a day at the office. Since the top already has a touch of accessories (jewels) a simple monogram necklace will do. Skinny pants (skinny jeans or even a pencil skirt) will compliment the peplum top. I'm in love with it!
